A fun, uplifting, and informative day in the fall outdoors to include live music, free food, prizes, and presentations to help families find a healthy and drugfree lifestyle.
Presentations including a question and answer time will be made by:
- Brazil UPC on the Christian Intervention Program, a faith-based addiction recovery class recommended and/or accepted by courts, case workers, probation, community corrections, and others.
- John Keesler, Ph.D., LMSW, of the IU School of Social Work, will talk about the impact of mental health and social issues on addictions.
- Medical students from the Mollie R. Wheat Memorial Clinic in Terre Haute, who will provide information on the free medical services the clinic provides including acute care visits, health screening, lab tests, and others.
- Amy Kline-Butler from the Anabranch Recovery Center will talk about their residential addiction recovery program.
- Holly Crowley, an ASPIN Health Navigator Coordinator, will discuss their free services to help individuals and families enroll in State or Federal insurance plans for which that they qualify.
